I vibe coded an app. What do I do on Day 2?

Day 2 is about the business, not the code: get real people to use the app, answer them fast and learn what they need. Set up a small daily routine for leads, signups, support and follow-ups, and decide which of those jobs your AI tools or your people will own.

1. Make sure people can reach you

Add a clear way to sign up and a way to contact you. Test both from your phone.

Check that confirmation emails arrive and that the links work.

2. Get your first real users

Share the app with people who have the problem it solves. Ask them to try one task while you watch or read their notes.

Ten honest users teach you more than a big launch with no follow-up.

Ask simple questions: what were you trying to do, where did you get stuck, and would you use this again next week? Write the answers down the same day.

3. Answer every signup and question

Reply to new signups and support messages within a day. Early users remember who answered.

Keep a simple log of questions. Repeated questions show you what to fix or explain.

4. Follow up on purpose

Most leads go cold because nobody wrote back. Set a reminder to follow up with each interested person.

An AI tool can draft follow-ups. You or your team decide what gets sent.

5. Decide who owns each job

List the daily jobs: leads, signups, support, follow-ups, small fixes. Next to each, write who owns it: you, a person on your team, or an AI tool you check.

Anything without an owner will slip.

6. Set a weekly review

Once a week, look at signups, replies, open issues and what you shipped. Pick the two jobs that matter most for next week.

Questions

Should I keep building features on Day 2?
Only the ones real users ask for or need to get value. Talking to users usually matters more than new features right after launch.
Can AI handle my support emails?
AI tools can draft replies and sort messages. Read and approve answers to customers, especially early on.
When should I start charging?
When users get clear value and you can support them. Be honest about what works today and what is still coming.
